Stop the Hate: Report Hate Crimes:

• Stop the Hate Community is a grassroots organization created by Kristopher Larsen to provide online tools for reporting and accountability. It’s first project is the Anti-Biased and Hate reporting tool that allows for anonymous reporting of anti-bias and hate incidents around our nation. The tool is specifically made to be mobile friendly, allows for uploading images and video, and provides a live map of incident locations.

• Co-authored with the National Center for Lesbian Rights, the Trans Youth Handbook is a legal resource guide that covers the rights of trans youth across such a wide spectrum of situations, including identity documents, school, health care, non-affirming care environments, and work. Available in mobile-friendly and PDF versions.

• REFUGE Restrooms:
  • Refuge Restrooms is a web application that seeks to provide safe restroom access for transgender, intersex, and gender nonconforming individuals. Users can search for restrooms by proximity to a search location, add new restroom listings, as well as comment and rate existing listings.

The 17th anniversary Festival Focus “Molten Connections” forges new relationships, awakens steadfast bonds of diaspora, and sparks a metamorphosis of love that withstands time. From Chumash ancestors who mapped the stars, to two older queer Latinas rekindling a geode of love, to queer and transgender people of color battling gentrification and displacement, these films resonate across generations and lay the cornerstone for change.
