Any Sauk-Suiattle tribal member who is at least eighteen years of age on Election Day is eligible to vote.
An individual who is excluded or removed from the Eligible Voter List may appeal to the Tribal Council.

(1) In order to be a candidate in the election, an individual must be at the time of filing Candidacy Application Form: (i) An enrolled member of the Sauk-Suiattle Indian Tribe; and (ii) At least 21 years of age.
(2) Disqualifying criteria for candidacy: (i) No member of the Election Board shall be eligible to be a candidate in the current election, even if that individual shall resign from the Election Board prior to Election Day.
While the Sauk-Suiattle Tribe does not have any K-12 schools under its Education Department, it does operate a
state-licensed pre-K facility (ECEAP) that serves the tribe, as well as surrounding Snohomish and Skagit County areas.
